Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Accountant located in Kampala. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, preparing financial statements, and conducting financial analysis. They will handle tasks such as bookkeeping, budgeting, forecasting, and tax preparation. Additionally, the Accountant will assist in internal audits and provide financial reports to management. The role requires a combination of in-office presence and some work-from-home flexibility.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Financial Transactions, Bookkeeping, and Compliance with Accounting Regulations
• Proficiency in Preparing Financial Statements, Budgeting, and Forecasting
• Experience in Financial Analysis and Tax Preparation
• Ability to Conduct Internal Audits and Provide Financial Reports
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is advantageous
• Proficiency with accounting software and tools
