MADFA Cooperative Savings and Credit Society Ltd was started by small holder farmers under Masindi District Farmers Association (MADFA) in response to the need for financial services. The society started as a savings and loan association under Masindi District Farmers Association (MADFA) with 30 members in January 2005. It was registered on June 5, 2005 as a cooperative savings and credit society (SACCO) by the Registrar of Cooperative Societies, registration number 7331/RCS.  The mandate of MADFA SACCO is to provide its members appropriate financial services and education to economically empower them for improved livelihood.

Job Summary:  The Accountant will be responsible for supervising daily branch postings into the system, preparing financial reports, provisions, tax management, payroll processing and fixed assets management.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• The applicant must hold a Bachelors’ degree from a recognized University and CPA Level 2 or Certified Accountancy Equivalent.
• At least five years experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of Financial Solutions Software is an added advantage
