About the job

The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, and conducting necessary audits. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong business acumen. This job is based in Kampala, Uganda at a new company concentrating on online sales of Vehicles and dealing in logistics. This position starts in the month of July 2023.

Responsibilities

• Controlling cash flow
• Creating monthly payrolls, returns and other necessary accounting jobs
• Prepare tax documents and claiming VAT
• Compile and analyze financial statements
• Manage budgeting and forecasting
• Assisting in creating and implementing necessary systems
• Helping up in set up and sharing ideas
• Jointly helping manage and handle staff

Qualifications

• Qualification in Accounting or related field
• Experience of a min of 5 years in a mid level to senior position
• Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Communication skills, Problem solving skills and forgoing and hardworking.
