JOB DETAILS:

Job Purpose:

 Account developer's core objective is to maintain, develop and grow existing customers through increased

volume and margins whilst building strong relationships.

 ADs will be challenged to profitably manage fuels, bitumen and lubricants business in their respective portfolio

while managing a balance of Platinum, Silver and Gold customers face to face.

Principal Accountabilities:

 Manages and updates the commercial customer value proposition for LPG in line with the company

guidelines

 Adhere to Group business principles and company policies regarding health, safety and the environment

 For all agreed Bulk segments – sales performance Volume / C3 / C5 profitability.

 Capacity to achieve sales targets in accordance with the marketing plan for the business,

 Create a clear link between profitable growth marketing strategies and sales implementation.

 Grow business by acquiring new customers while maintaining existing customer base.

 Develop and maintain key relationships with key customer accounts in line with agreed Customer Relationship

Management (CRM) strategy.

 Ensure a sales management monitoring and review process is in place and proactively used

 Optimizes the success of the Bulk Sales segment planning and implementation of detailed key a/c sales

management strategies

 Develop and implement sales strategies to address identified performance gaps Maintain and update

regularly Sales first tools and other relevant customer records.

Key Challenges:

 Ensure consistent delivery of VEU's Obligations to customers in a safe manner.

 Ensure customer profitability but not lose volume

Job Knowledge, Skills & Experiences:

 Good understanding of marketing and ability to translate plans into action

 Sales experience with bottom line accountability and results delivery

 Strong selling and proven competence in negotiation.

 Motivated and high standard of personal presentation

 Good communication skills both written and verbal

 Business Acumen and Marketing Spirit
