TOROKO DISTRICT LOCAL GOVERNMENT invites detailed applications from interested and competent registered contracting firms and companies to be pre-qualified as providers of Supplies/Goods, Services and Works for the Financial Year 2026-2027 who will be called upon to quote / bid for the following items:

(A) SUPPLIES / GOODS:

• Supply of Agricultural inputs (improved technologies, chemicals, breeds, seedings)

• Design, supply and installation of micro scale irrigation system

• Supply of school and office furniture and fittings

• Supply of uniforms, curtains, protective wear, carpets and Sports equipment

• Supply of gravel, culverts including installation

• Supply and installation of solar panels and other electrical equipment

• Supply of motorcycles and bicycles

Supplies under framework contracts:

• Supply fuel, oils and lubricants

• Supply of computers, printers, photocopiers, other accessories and spare parts

• Supply of office stationery, photocopying and binding

• Supply of medical equipment

(B) SERVICES:

• Sign posts installation and engraving

• Design, construction of gravity flow scheme and extension of piped water line of road equipments

• Provision of insurance cover

Services under framework contracts:

• Repair and maintenance of motor vehicles, motorcycles, other road equipment generators including supply of spare parts

• Advertising, media and radio programs

• Repair and servicing of computers, printers and other equipment

• Catering services

(C) WORKS:

• General building, construction and renovation works and supply of construction materials

• Construction and rehabilitation of boreholes, springs and shallow wells

CONDITIONS OF TENDER

Bidders are required to submit their bids with the following documents:

• Non-refundable fee receipt

• Certificate of Incorporation

• Powers of attorney

• Valid trading license

• Valid fax Registration certificate

• Tax Identification Number

• Bank account with latest bank statement

• Name, address, telephone contacts and physical location of the Company

• List of Directors of the Company

• Record of past or current contracts performance, equipment available and key personnel

• Any other information stated in the bidding document or deemed necessary

Each item should be applied for separately.

A complete set of the bidding document is obtained from the office of Procurement and Disposal Unit, Torokoro District Local Government, P.O Box 568, Fort Portal upon payment of Non-refundable fee of 52,500/= (Fifty two thousand five hundred shillings only) using the Integrated Revenue Administration System (IRAS). The receipt will then be presented to Procurement and Disposal Unit to obtain the bidding document. Only one original bid document is required to be submitted to Procurement and Disposal Unit, Torokoro District Local Government, P.O Box 568, Fort Portal. The deadline for bid submission is 24th July 2026 at 2:00pm at the district headquarters. Bid opening will take place on the same day and at the same venue at 2:30pm in presence of bidders or their representatives who wish to attend. Late bids will be rejected.
