Job Overview

We are seeking a responsible and experienced Coaster Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting university students between their hostel and campus for lectures while ensuring punctual, reliable, and professional service.

The ideal candidate should have good driving skills, a valid driving permit, and basic mechanical knowledge to handle minor vehicle checks and troubleshooting when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from the hostel and university campus according to the scheduled timetable.
• Ensure passengers arrive on time and in a safe manner.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips.
• Identify and report mechanical issues promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper care of the coaster vehicle.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Provide professional and respectful service to students and staff.

Job Requirements

• Must have a valid Driving Permit (Class C).
• Must be a Ugandan citizen with a valid National ID.
• Minimum qualification: O’ Level certificate.
• Must be physically fit and able to perform driving duties effectively.
• Must have basic mechanical knowledge and ability to carry out minor vehicle checks.
• Previous experience driving a coaster, bus, or passenger vehicle will be an added advantage.
• Must demonstrate good discipline, reliability, and time  management skills.
