About Organisation:

Nile Energy Limited is a Ugandan registered oil marketing company incorporated in 2006 that imports, distributes, and markets petroleum products. It operates as the parent company owning the GAZ brand of retail petrol stations, with a network of over 30 service stations across Uganda.

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, Petroleum Studies or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales, marketing, business development or commercial management.
  • Strong accounting knowledge and experience using accounting or ERP software is an added advantage.
  • Experience in LPG, Lubricants, petroleum, energy, FMCG, B2B, dealer/channel or industrial sales is preferred.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets, growing customer portfolios and managing sales teams.
  • Strong knowledge of the Ugandan market, customer segments, pricing, competitors and sales channels.
  • Professional sales/marketing qualification and a valid driving permit are added advantages.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills; leadership and team management; customer relationship management; market analysis; commercial awareness; planning and reporting; excellent communication; integrity; professionalism; good Microsoft Office with analytical skills; and knowledge of LPG, Lubricants, safety and HSE compliance.
