JOB DETAILS:

Background

We are seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Supervisor to lead pre-commissioning, commissioning, testing and handover activities for electrical and instrumentation systems on major oil & gas facilities. The role ensures safe execution, quality compliance and timely delivery in line with project requirements and international standards.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree or Higher Diploma in Electrical Engineering Instrumentation Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 3 years' experience in Electrical & Instrumentation construction, pre-commissioning or commissioning in Oil & Gas
• Minimum 3 years in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of Electrical Systems, Instrumentation, DCS, PLC, SIS, Fire & Gas and ESD systems.
• Ability to interpret SLDs, P&IDs, Loop Diagrams, Cable Schedules and Cause & Effect Matrices
• Working knowledge of IEC, NEC, ATEX/IECEX and industry standards.
• Strong leadership, planning, communication and documentation skills
• Proficient in MS Office and commissioning documentation systems

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise electrical & instrumentation installation, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities
• Lead testing, calibration, loop checking and functional testing of instruments and control systems
• Oversee electrical testing, energization of systems, switchgear, MCCs, transformers and equipment.
• Supervise DCS, PLC, SIS, Fire & Gas and ESD systems commissioning
• Ensure compliance with work packs, procedures, project specifications and safety standards.
• Coordinate PTW, JSA, LOTO and isolation activities
• Monitor quality, resolve technical issues and coordinate with Engineering, DA/QC and other disciplines.
• Lead punch listing. MC, system handover and documentation.
• Manage and develop technicians, subcontractors and commissioning teams
• Prepare commissioning reports, test records, dossiers and handover documentation:
• Promote a strong HSE culture and ensure full compliance with HSE procedures
