JOB DETAILS:

The Procurement Officer will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring timely acquisition of goods and services, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring value for money while complying with company policies and procedures. Female candidates are preferable.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate procurement activities.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and service providers.
• Prepare purchase orders and procurement documentation.
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain supplier databases.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Conduct market surveys and price comparisons.
• Manage inventory levels and coordinate with user departments.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
• Prepare procurement reports and records.
• Support contract management and supplier relationship management.
• Any other responsibilities that may be given to you.

Qualifications & experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Environmental, or related field.
• Professional certification in Procurement (CIPS, CILT, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement systems.
