Role Summary: The Factory Worker is responsible for assisting in the daily production, assembly, and packaging of goods within a manufacturing plant. The role focuses on operating basic machinery, sorting products, maintaining quality standards, and following all safety guidelines on the factory floor.
Key Responsibilities and Duties * Operate factory machinery, tools, and production equipment safely after proper training.
● Assemble, sort, pack, and label products according to production guidelines.
● Inspect finished goods to ensure they meet quality standards and report any defects to the supervisor.
● Feed raw materials into production machinery and monitor the process.
● Load and unload materials from delivery trucks or storage areas.
● Clean and maintain the workspace, machinery, and tools before and after shifts.
● Follow all health, safety, and hygiene rules, including wearing proper protective gear (PPE).
● Meet daily production targets and quotas set by the supervisor.
● Report any mechanical faults or safety hazards immediately.
Required Skills and Qualifications: Minimum secondary school education; technical or vocational training is a plus.
● Previous experience in a factory, warehouse, or manufacturing environment is preferred.
● Ability to understand and follow spoken and written instructions.
● Strong teamwork and cooperation skills.
● Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
● High level of discipline, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.

Work Environment & Requirements * Industrial factory floor environment, which can be noisy or dusty.

Success Indicators (Performance Outcomes) * Meeting or exceeding daily production and packaging targets.
● Consistent adherence to all factory safety and hygiene regulations.
● Low error or defect rates in assigned production tasks.
● Punctuality and reliable attendance for all scheduled shifts.
