JOB DETAILS:

Background

OneDay Health operates 88 one-nurse health centers in remote rural Uganda and we’re growing fast. We're looking for a Senior Accountant, to manage our budget, make projections and lead our finance team into the future. Our preference is that you are based in our Gulu office, but we are open to remote work for exceptional candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage OneDay Health's accounting system
• Produce monthly financial reports for the CEO, COO and board
• Produce budgets and financial projections for future years
• Supervise accounts assistant to ensure that finances and books balance at health center level
• Communicate with managers across Uganda to ensure tight and compliant financial management

Qualification Requirement

Any Financial Qualification at Diploma or Degree level

Experience and skills

• Experience and understanding of computer financial software.
• Can build and manipulate complex Microsoft Excel sheet
• Over 3 years in managing accounts in a business or NGO setting using computer systems
• Experience leading teams
• Clear communication
