Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.

 On behalf of our client SPIRO, we are looking for a competentskilled, and experienced Swap Supervisor to work in Central region, Lango and Acholi sub region, Bunyoro region, western region, and Eastern region Uganda.

Reporting to: Regional managers

Job purpose:

The Swap Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily battery swap station operations, ensuring efficient service delivery, optimal battery availability, and high customer satisfaction. The role involves managing swap agents, maintaining operational standards, and ensuring time of swap stations in line with Spiro’s electric mobility objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise daily operations of battery swap stations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Lead, train, and manage swap agents across assigned locations.
  • Monitor battery inventory levels, charging cycles, and availability to avoid shortages.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards when handling lithium-ion batteries.
  • Track and manage station performance, uptime, and turnaround times.
  • Handle escalations from riders/drivers and resolve operational issues promptly.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and technical teams for faulty batteries or equipment.
  • Ensure accurate system updates for each swap transaction.
  • Conduct routine audits on processes, compliance, and service quality.
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
  • Support expansion activities such as new station setups and onboarding.

 

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma or Certificate in Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.  2–5 years of experience in operations, logistics, or field service (supervisory role preferred).
  • Experience in EV, energy, or mobility sectors is an advantage.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Good understanding of operational processes and inventory management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, field-based environment.
  • Basic technical understanding of batteries or willingness to learn.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and mobile-based operational systems.
