Role Overview

As a Marketeer, you will play a pivotal role in promoting our products and services while working closely with our Managing Director. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a dynamic, hybrid work environment and are eager to contribute to a results-driven team.

Position Details

• Employment Type: Full-time
• Location: Kampala (Hybrid Work Arrangement)
• Reporting Structure: Reports to the Managing Director
• Number of Vacancies: 2

Key Responsibilities

1. Negotiate prices or terms of sales or service agreements.
2. Visit establishments to evaluate needs or promote product/service sales.
3. Maintain customer records using automated systems.
4. Answer customers' questions regarding products, prices, availability, or credit terms.
5. Provide feedback to product design teams to tailor products to clients' needs.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications

• Education: Post-secondary Diploma in Marketing or related fields.
• Experience: 1-2 years in a relevant role.
• Required Skills: Speaking, Active Listening, Negotiation, Critical Thinking, Time Management.
• Technical Knowledge: Proficient in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and Luganda.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Responsibilities

• Sell service contracts for technical or scientific products.
• Emphasize product features based on customer needs and technical knowledge.
• Demonstrate the operation or use of products.

Desired Additional Skills

• Persuasion, Social Perceptiveness, Service Orientation.
