- Role: Documentation Specialist
Role Overview
Mercor is hiring experienced legal professionals to support a specialized data project focused on Paraguayan legal and financial documentation. The role involves collecting, verifying, and organizing publicly available legal and regulatory content for use in internal testing and external demonstrations of advanced AI systems.
This is a short-term, remote, and part-time contract role ideal for professionals with litigation or corporate/transactional experience and strong attention to detail. Work is asynchronous and deadline-driven, requiring independent execution and adherence to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, collect, and organize publicly available legal and financial documents in accordance with detailed project guidelines
- Ensure all materials are accurate, complete, and properly formatted
- Follow structured documentation protocols to meet quality benchmarks
- Verify that all sources are publicly accessible and legally compliant
- Collaborate asynchronously with the project manager and meet defined deadlines
Required Qualifications
- 2–3 years of active legal practice experience within Paraguay
- Prior experience in litigation or corporate/transactional legal work
- Familiarity with Paraguayan legal databases and regulatory content sources
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured guidelines
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results on short timelines
Role Details
- Type: Part-time, hourly contractor
- Duration: Approximately 2–3 weeks
- Hours: 10–20 hours per week (based on availability and project needs)
- Work Mode: Fully remote and asynchronous
- Compensation: $50–$80 per hour (based on experience)
