JOB DETAILS:

Responsibilities:

    • Prepare a wide variety of desserts, including cakes, pastries, cookies, and plated desserts.
    • Develop dessert menus and create new recipes.
    • Manage all aspects of the pastry section, including baking, decoration, and presentation.
    • Control inventory for the pastry section, including ordering ingredients like flour, sugar, and chocolate.
    • Ensure consistency and quality in all pastry items produced.
    • Oversee the proper operation and maintenance of baking equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or certification in Pastry Arts or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in a bakery or pastry kitchen.
  • Expertise in baking techniques, pastry creation, and decoration.
  • Creativity and a keen eye for detail and presentation.
  • Strong knowledge of ingredients and baking science.
