Kampala Community International Preschool (KCIP) is a progressive early child development center for children aged 18 months to 5 years. What we’re looking for:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant team! You will be working with our Play Group children, aged 18 months to 2 years, supporting their learning, play, and social-emotional development.

The applicant should have:

- Certificate or diploma in Early Childhood Education

- Experience working in an international teaching setting is preferred

- A passion for working with young children and supporting their development

- Belief in learning through play and the ability to implement playful, engaging though meaningful activities

- Strong communication and teamwork skills

Your role will include:

- Assisting the lead teacher in daily classroom activities

- Supporting children during play, routines, and learning experiences

- Helping prepare materials and maintain a safe, welcoming classroom environment

- Observing and documenting children’s development and sharing feedback
