Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified Tax Senior to manage compliance and advisory assignments, review tax filings, and provide strategic tax solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical knowledge, leadership, and commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead tax compliance and advisory assignments
- Review tax computations and filings in line with URA requirements. Guide VAT, WHT, PAYE, and Corporate Tax matters
- Assist clients in tax planning and structuring
- Mentor junior staff in technical tax matters
- Build strong client relationships while maintaining independence
Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Qualified CPA or ACCA (finalist/member)
- 3-5 years' tax compliance/advisory experience in a reputable firm. Strong knowledge of Uganda tax laws and URA requirements. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with tax software & Microsoft Office
