JOB DETAILS:

The Maintenance Controller is responsible for ensuring continuous operation of equipment and machinery. Through experience he observes machine conditions and oversee routine maintenance and organize repairs. S/he plays a vital role in the efficiency, development and progress of manufacturing and processing industries through proper planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• • Drawing up, implementing and supervising daily maintenance for all equipment
  • Job allocation for the maintenance persons
  • Consults with the team and provides information and guidance to maintenance personnel.
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, diagnosing issues, and coordinating quick repairs to minimize production downtime.
  • Controlling maintenance tools, stores and equipment.
  • Monitoring and controlling maintenance costs.
  • Dealing with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs.
  • Fitting new parts and making sure equipment is in the right condition.
  • Carrying out routine scheduled maintenance work and responding to equipment faults.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience: 

• A bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
• With 3 years of experience in a similar role
• OR Higher Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 6 years of experience.
