Position: Agriculturist

Location: Kanungu District, Western Uganda
Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and manage a mixed farm (crops and livestock).
• Implement modern and sustainable farming techniques.
• Train farm workers and community members in best agricultural practices.
• Monitor farm operations, productivity, and profitability.
• Participate in planning, budgeting, and reporting.
• Work closely with local leaders and farmer groups.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Must be a graduate (Certificate, Diploma, or Degree) in Agriculture, Agronomy, Animal Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ hands-on experience in managing or working on a mixed farm.
• Strong knowledge in both crop and animal husbandry.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and training skills.
• Willing to live and work in a rural area (Kanungu District).
