JOB DETAILS:

The key purpose of this role is to proactively support business strategy by providing supply chain and trade expertise which enhances the competitive position of Ab InBev brands and corporate image with customers and consumers.

    • Provide leadership to endure commitment to product quality
    • Apply the quality system in the workplace

    • Support implementation of recommendations
    • Optimise availability of measuring equipment and test samples
    • Apply problem solving and decision-making techniques and principles
    • Coach core lab and production staff
    • Communicate effectively in the work place

    • Participates in training needs analyses and quality audits to identify teams and individuals requiring coaching
    • Completes CAP assessments for quality as required
    • Interacts with lab technicians, production and operational teams on an ongoing basis to identify coaching needs
    • On an ongoing or ad hoc basis coach's lab technicians and production teams on quality and quality analysis
    • Inter-lab Error Control
    • Reference sample management
    • ERI results recorded, and process managed
    • Maintenance and calibration records
    • Adherence to manualized calibration frequencies
    • TQA/In Trade Product Assessment Report
    • Trade Returns/Customer complaints
    • Trade visit feedback
    • Taste Education and Product tasting/taint netting

    • Availability of updated standards, specifications, manuals and procedures
    • Audit feedback/report recommendations for gap closures actioned

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Microbiology or equivalent
  • Min – 3-6 months on the job training
  • 2-3 Years in Laboratory, Brewing or Packaging operation
