JOB DETAILS:

The Program Officer will oversee the implementation of solar electric cooking activities, coordinate stakeholders, engage communities, and ensure the adoption of clean cooking technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate solar e-cooking activities under SOLCO.
• Liaise with Mercy Corps (SOLCO National Lead) and Last Mile Climate.
• Mobilize refugee/host communities for e-cooking adoption.
• Train stakeholders, monitor progress, and report impacts.
• Collaborate with local governments, private sector, and NGOs.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of project management/partnership experience.
• Knowledge of clean cooking technologies (advantageous).
• Familiarity with Bidibidi context and local languages (e.g., Aringa, Arabic).
• Passion for climate justice and energy access.
