Job Summary:   The main role of a Mechanical QC/QA Supervisor is to ensure that the mechanical equipment and processes meet the required quality standards and specifications throughout the project lifecycle. This involves overseeing inspections, implementing quality control measures, managing documentation, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and company procedures.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of advanced QC/QA inspectors and technicians ensuring advanced compliance with advanced industry regulations, advanced safety standards, and advanced quality requirements for mechanical engineering projects.
  • Develop and implement advanced inspection plans and advanced control measures for mechanical engineering activities, including advanced dimensional checks, advanced material testing, advanced equipment inspections, and advanced welding quality control.
  • Conduct advanced inspections, advanced audits, and advanced assessments to verify advanced compliance with advanced quality requirements, advanced industry standards, and advanced technical specifications for mechanical engineering projects.
  • Collaborate with advanced technical teams to establish advanced quality standards, advanced technical specifications, and advanced inspection plans for mechanical engineering materials and construction processes.
  • Employ advanced data analysis tools and advanced statistical methods to monitor advanced quality trends, identify advanced areas for improvement, and develop advanced quality enhancement strategies for mechanical engineering activities.
  • Advanced Reporting: Generate advanced technical reports and documentation related to mechanical QA/QC activities, providing insights for project performance assessments.
  • Assist in advanced corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)based on advanced quality findings and advanced non-conformities, tracking advanced resolution to closure for mechanical engineering activities.
  • Coordinate advanced cross-functional teams, including advanced safety personnel, advanced engineering, advanced procurement, and advanced logistics, to ensure advanced quality objectives are met for mechanical engineering projects.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a closely related field with advanced technical knowledge in quality assurance and control particularly in mechanical engineering.
  • Hands-on experience in progressively responsible roles related to QA/QC, with a focus on mechanical engineering projects within the oil and gas industry.
  • Proven knowledge of advanced quality standards, advanced inspection techniques, advanced testing methodologies and advanced industry best practices for mechanical engineering.
  • Advanced proficiency in using specialized QA/QC tools, advanced data analysis software, and advanced quality management systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem -solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex technical issues related to mechanical QA/QC.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, particularly in advanced project coordination, resource management, and advanced documentation for mechanical engineering projects.
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to convey advanced technical information clearly and effectively to diverse stakeholders.
