BID NOTICE UNDER OPEN DOMESTIC BIDDING

1. 1. The Government of Uganda under the Ministry of Water and Environment through the German Financial Cooperation, has received funds through KfW to implement the EU WASH and Infrastructure in Schools Project under the Climate Resilience and Water Infrastructure for Refugees and Host Communities in Northern Uganda Program. The EU WASH and Infrastructure in Schools Project is funded by the European Commission through KfW under the EU Programme Grant for Development Uganda (G4DU). to be used for the acquisition of the above works.
   2. The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above works.
   3. Bidding shall be conducted in accordance with the procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003 (the Act) and the Regulations made under the Act and is open to all bidders.
   4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding document at the address given below at 8(a) from 8:30am to 5:00pm during official working hours.
   5. The bidding document which has been prepared in the English language may be purchased by interested bidders on its upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX: 100,000= (Uganda Shillings One Hundred Thousand Only) per lot. The method of payment will be Direct Deposit to URA Accounts. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 8(b) at or before 10:00am on 20th May, 2025. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in form of an unconditional bank guarantee in the amount stated above. Bids security must be valid until 15th December, 2025. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 8(d) at 10.15 am on 20th May, 2025.
   6. There shall be a pre-bid meeting/site visits (Site Visit is Mandatory) as indicated in table above.
   7.
