JOB DETAILS:

• Reports To: Warden In Charge
• Salary Scale: UWA 08
• Number of Vacancies: 150
• Duty Station: Field (Conservation Areas)

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct patrols and law enforcement within protected areas.
• Prevent and combat wildlife crimes such as poaching and illegal trade.
• Assist in wildlife monitoring and ecological data collection.
• Support community conservation programs.
• Ensure the safety of tourists and visitors in national parks.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with at least five passes including English and Mathematics.
• Physical fitness is a mandatory requirement (candidates will undergo a fitness test).
• Training in law enforcement or paramilitary skills is an added advantage.

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to work in challenging environments.
• Strong teamwork and discipline.
• Good communication and observation skills.
