Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.
On behalf of our client TOTAL ENERGIES, we are looking for competent, skilled, and experienced Junior Internal Communications Officer to work in Uganda.
Position Title: Junior Internal Communications Officer
Reports To: Internal Communications Manager
Direction : Corporate Affairs
Location: Kampala

Activities
The position holder is responsible for:
Content Creation:
Assist in creating a content calendar and delivering internal communication content, including newsletters, emails, intranet updates, and
presentations.
Communication Plans:
Collaborate with the Internal Communications Manager to develop and implement communication plans that align with the company's goals and objectives.
Channel Management:
Manage and update internal communication channels, ensuring content is engaging and accessible to all employees.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work with various stakeholders including creative design agency and other departments, among others to ensure clear, consistent, and aligned communication across the organization.
Event Coordination:
Support the planning and execution of internal events, such as town halls, staff meetings, and employee engagement activities.
Feedback Mechanisms:
Administer the employee feedback channels to gather employee input and improve internal communication strategies.
Monitoring and Evaluation:
Monitor and assess the effectiveness of internal communication strategies, providing recommendations for improvement.
Mandatory Requirements:
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related
field.
Professional experience:
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in internal communications and staff engagements, or a related role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in using communication tools and platforms.
• Ability to work collaboratively with different teams and departments.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Previous experience in internal communications or a related field is a plus.
Skills:
• Excellent writing and editing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other communication tools.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
