Job Title: Assistant Curriculum Specialist Local Languages
Organisation: National Curriculum Development Centre (NCDC)
Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
About Organisation:
The National Curriculum Development Centre (NCDC) is a corporate body under Ministry of Education and Sports. It is responsible for inter–alia development of curricular and related materials for various levels of education i.e Pre -primary, Primary, Secondary and some Tertiary institutions, organizing capacity building courses for stakeholders on curricular and matters related to curriculum.
Job Summary: To offer support in the curriculum development process in the area of local languages.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- An Honour’s Bachelor’s Degree in Education with a bias in Bantu languages (Luganda, Lusoga, Runyankole – Rukiga, Runyoro – Rutooro) or Honours Bachelor’s Degree with a qualification in Education.
- At least three (3) years teaching experience in any of the Local languages (Luganda, Lusoga, Runyankole – Rukiga, Runyoro – Rutooro) Or as Curriculum Developer.
- Age: 25 – 40 Years
