Purpose of Post
The Vector Control Officer is responsible for ensuring that proper control methods of pest and vectors are used while executing our work.

Minimum qualifications
• Diploma in Medical Entomology & parasitology or related field

Responsible To
• Operations Manager

Main Duties
• Supervise all tasks relating to pest control exercises
• Organises weekly meetings with the pesticide applicators

• Analyses and comments on weekly reports from the pest control teams
• Writes monthly reports to the operations manager
• Ensures the efficiency of the chemicals being used, and determines treatment frequencies
• Assesses, designs, implements, monitors, and evaluates the pest control methods

• Ensures the correct use of pesticides, protective equipment and other equipment

• Ensures appropriate storage and maintenance of equipment to be present at all working sites during the pest control exercise
• Monitor pest infestations on clients premises & conduct data analyses

• Ensure fumigation is done exceeding customer requirements and ensure customer is satisfied.
• Inspect, identify and calculate pesticides, equipment and other resources to use on every job
• Supports the sales function with customer inquiries, satisfaction and others
• Ensure proper execution & management as per quality, environment, health & safety management systems
