Job Description/Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan targeting enterprise customer to achieve revenue and growth objectives. Identify key accounts, verticals, and market segments for growth.
  • Client Acquisition & Retention: Acquire new enterprise clients by proactively identifying leads and opportunities. Establish and nurture long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure
  • customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Product Expertise: Gain a deep understanding of the company’s hardware and networking products (such as routers, switches, servers, storage solutions, firewalls, and more). Effectively communicate product benefits to enterprise customers and tailor solutions to meet their specific requirements.
  • Sales Target Achievement: Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets. Track progress towards sales goals, forecast revenues, and report results to senior management.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with the technical and support teams to ensure a seamless sales-to-delivery process. Provide valuable insights from customers to the product and marketing teams.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market changes to identify new opportunities and potential challenges. Provide feedback to leadership regarding product offerings and sales strategies.
  • Proposal and Negotiation: Lead the preparation of proposals and quotations. Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with enterprise clients to close deals and ensure profitability.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Utilize CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to track leads, opportunities, sales activities, and customer interactions. Maintain up-to-date records of all accounts and sales communications.
  • Training & Mentorship: Mentor junior sales team members, sharing industry knowledge and sales techniques. Assist in developing the sales team’s overall skills and knowledge of IT hardware and networking products.

Qualifications:

  • Education: bachelor’s degree in business administration, IT, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or any additional certifications in IT or sales management is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of experience in enterprise sales, specifically in IT hardware, networking solutions, or a related technical field. Experience managing large-scale accounts and complex sales cycles is a must.
  • Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of IT hardware, networking equipment, and solutions such as servers, routers, switches, firewalls, cloud computing, data storage, etc. Certifications such as Cisco, CompTIA, or similar are an advantage.
  • Sales Skills: Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven track record of achieving sales targets. Ability to craft tailored solutions based on customer needs.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical solutions to non-technical decision-makers.
  • Leadership & Teamwork: Ability to lead by example and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
