JOB DETAILS:
Quality Plastics (U) Ltd is looking for a Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations, drive efficiency, and uphold quality standards. Key Responsibilities.
• Oversee daily operations of the PET recycling washing line, including sorting, shredding, washing, and drying processes.
• Ensure efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Implement and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality control standards.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure recycled PET meets required quality specifications.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards, environmental regulations, and industry best practices.
• Report on the performance of the systems and suggest on the opportunity for improvement.
• Supervise, train, and motivate production teams for maximum performance.
• Conduct on-the-job training for new employees on proper machine operation and safety protocols.
• Promote teamwork and a culture of continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate production logs and records of machine performance.
• Analyse production data to track performance, identify trends, and suggest improvements.
• Prepare reports on production output, efficiency, and operational challenges for management review.
• Ensure working environment always maintained clean to avoid contamination of product
• Enforce workplace safety regulations to ensure a hazard-free environment.
• Implement proper handling and disposal of waste materials per environmental standards.
• Conduct routine safety audits and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Perform any other duties which may be required by management.
Requirements
• Minimum Experience: 3years of experience in manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years in a Supervisory role.
• Minimum Education: Certificate/Diploma in Accounting or any related field.
• Excellent knowledge in English (verbal and written).
• Good Knowledge of MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Good knowledge of applicable standards, local rules and regulations.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including shifts, as required by production demands.
