JOB DETAILS:
Overview:
• A marketing officer in an education consultancy company plays a crucial role in promoting educational programs and services to prospective students and professionals. This position involves developing marketing strategies, managing campaigns, and engaging with various stakeholders to enhance the visibility and reputation of the consultancy.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies:
• Create comprehensive marketing plans to promote the consultancy’s partner universities’ courses.
• Identify target audiences and tailor marketing messages accordingly.
2. Market Research and Analysis:
• Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and student preferences.
• Analyze data to refine marketing strategies and improve outreach efforts.
3. Event Planning and Coordination:
• Organize marketing events such as education fairs, workshops, webinars, and open days.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful execution of events.
4. Content Creation:
• Develop engaging marketing materials including brochures, flyers, newsletters, and social media content.
• Write press releases and manage communication with media outlets.
5. Stakeholder Engagement:
• Build relationships with schools, education agents, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Provide consultancy services to students regarding course options, admissions requirements, and career pathways.
6. Digital Marketing Management:
• Oversee the company’s online presence through website management and social media platforms.
• Utilize CRM systems to track interactions with potential students.
7. Performance Analysis:
• Monitor the effectiveness of marketing campaigns through analytics tools.
• Prepare reports on campaign performance and suggest improvements based on findings.
8. Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with academic departments, admissions teams, and student services to ensure cohesive messaging.
• Manage a team of marketing assistants or coordinators if applicable.

Qualifications:
• A degree in marketing/ Diploma in business administration, education or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in marketing or communications within the education sector is advantageous.
• Strong writing skills for creating compelling copy across various channels.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
Skills Required:
• Proficient in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., social media management).
• Strong interpersonal skills for networking with potential partners and clients.
• Analytical mindset for interpreting market data and campaign results.
• Skills in designing flyers for social media channels is a MUST
Working Conditions:
• Standard office hours may apply; however, flexibility is often required for event planning.
• Occasional evening or weekend work may be necessary during peak periods or special events.
