Job Summary:   The head of security is responsible for safeguarding the company’s assets, including agricultural products (grains), agriculture inputs, and spare parts, from theft or any form of criminal activity.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies, policies, and protocols to protect assets and operations.
• Lead investigations into incidents of theft, fraud, or other security breaches, utilizing formal investigative techniques, ensuring thorough documentation of all incidents, from initial reports to the final resolution.
• Coordinate with law enforcement when necessary, providing evidence, and supporting legal procedures as required.
• Lead and manage the security team, ensuring proper coverage at key facilities, warehouses, and agricultural sites.
• Regularly monitor security operations, provide analysis of trends or recurring issues (such as theft of grains or agricultural inputs), and write detailed reports regularly with suggestions for
• Work closely with logistics, procurement, and inventory management teams to understand vulnerabilities in the supply chain and identify areas where security can be enhanced.
• Coordinate operations with Private Security External companies

Additional Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in preventing theft, managing security risks, and conducting investigations into criminal activity, particularly related to warehousing and agricultural
• In-depth knowledge of the agricultural supply chain, including the security challenges related to grains, agriculture inputs, and spare parts.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• Formal training or certification in conducting investigations is required
• Valid National ID
• A minimum of 7 years in a security management role, with at least 3 years in a senior position related to security oversight in Security, Manufacturing, agriculture, logistics, or similar busy.
