Activities
The job holder is responsible for the following;
Main roles and responsibilities;
The HR Administrator is a full-time, in-country position based in Kampala and reporting to the Managing Director.
The core responsibilities include:
• Manage the recruitment process and hired recruitment firms for new candidates.
• Preparing payroll data and ensuring timely submission to payroll services.
• Maintain accurate employee records both electronic and physical
• Track and report on staff leave and attendance across all offices
• Track and report on company assets including staff uniform, laptops, mobile phones.
• Manage staff benefits program, monthly submission of staff communication allowance
• Manage company nominated hospitals and hotels across all the regions, hotel reservations, tracking medical cover, authorizing treatment and general employee welfare.
• Support in resolving employee grievances and conflicts in a fair and timely manner
Qualification:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or any other related field
Experience:
• Prior experience in administrative, human resources, office management or secretarial skills
• High degree of organization and communication skills
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Ability and willingness to learn on the job
• Positive attitude and sense of humor
• Familiarity with employment laws and HR best practices.
• Discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality
