BID NOTICE UNDER OPEN INTERNATIONAL BIDDING

Supply and Delivery of Drainage and Oil Pumps and Motors Spares for Nalubaale and Kiira Power Station; UEGCL/SPLS/2023-24/10437 (Re-advertised)

1. Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited has allocated funds to be used for the procurements described below for Nalubaale and Kiira Power Stations;
   Supply and delivery of Drainage and Oil Pumps and Motors Spares for Nalubaale and Kiira Power Station.

   The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above supplies.

2. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open International Bidding method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, CAP 205 as amended, and Regulations 2023 and is open to all bidders.
3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below (7) from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
4. The Bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on submission of a written application to the address below at (7) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000/- (Ugandan Shillings One Hundred Thousand Only). The method of payment will be in the bank on Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited, Stanbic Bank, Operations A/C No. 9030014717327 upon receipt of payment. The document will be issued after proof of payment.

     • Lot-2: Drainage Pumps: UGX 15,000,000 (Ugandan Shillings Fifteen Million Only)

5. The Bid Security must be valid until 23rd September 2025. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the address below at (7) at 11:10 a.m. on 27th February 2025.
