JOB DETAILS:
What is your role?
The weighbridge operator is responsible for weighing in and out all vehicles that bring raw materials into the factory
and those carrying finished goods out of the factory and capturing the data in De Heus Plant (DHP)

Duties and Responsibilities
• Liaise with the control room and warehouse manager to be sure of saleable goods in
• the warehouse in DHP
• Maintain and monitor machine to make sure it functions properly
• Report promptly any incidence of overweight or under weight

• Liaise with Purchasing department to ensure only expected goods are weighted
• Checks and ensures weighing is done accurately
• Ensures only vehicle and goods are weighted without and hidden weights
• Report malfunctions and any anomalies in the function of the weighbridge

• Take note of calibration dates and ensures it is done on time

Qualifications and experience.
• Bachelors in Procurement and Logistics or any other relevant field.
• Relevant experience will be an added advantage
• Excellent interpersonal, particularly staff/management relation skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
