Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement urban planning strategies for Soroti City.
• Conduct land use planning and zoning to ensure sustainable city development.

• Coordinate with stakeholders on development projects and land management.
• Prepare and maintain detailed city planning reports and maps.

• Advise city leadership on urbanization policies and strategies.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning, Geography, or a related field.
• Registration with the Uganda Institute of Planners (UIP) is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in urban planning or a related field.
• Proficient in GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and urban planning tools.
