• Prepare quotations, invoices and handle accounts receivable/ payable.
• Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including updating ledgers, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Reconcile bank statements and cross-check them with internal records to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial data.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, financial policies, and legal requirements.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and periodic reports.
• Assist in processing payroll and maintaining employee records.
• Assist with the preparation and filing of tax returns.
• Perform administrative duties such as filing documents, handling correspondence related to accounting, and maintaining financial files and records.
• Provide support in financial analysis and help in identifying trends or discrepancies that need attention.
• Assist in audit preparation by providing necessary information and documentation.

Qualifications:  

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 2nd Class Upper.
• Other relevant certifications are an added advantage.

Essential experience and skills

• At least one year of experience in an accounting role.
• A strong understanding of accounting principles
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software, MS Dynamics, and MS Office - especially Excel
