Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and creative Social Media & Content Creator to join our team. In this volunteer role, you will help amplify our mission by crafting engaging content for our social media platforms, showcasing our impact, and building a stronger online presence. You will play a key role in promoting the Bees & Trees children’s storybook, Bees & Trees Coffee, Honey, and highlighting the contributions of our valued partners.

Key Responsibilities

1. Content Creation

o Develop and schedule engaging posts for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn & TikTok).

o Write compelling captions, design graphics, and create short videos to highlight our work.

o Showcase farmer stories, environmental impacts, community success stories and products.

2. Educational Book Pilot

o Share feedback from students and educators on how to make the book more interactive and impactful.

o Document the pilot process through photos, videos, and written stories for social media and internal reports.

3. Social Media Management

o Monitor engagement and respond to comments/messages on social media platforms.

o Suggest creative strategies to grow our audience and improve engagement.

4. Collaboration & Reporting

o Coordinate with the Bees & Trees team for updates on ongoing activities.

o Provide regular progress updates and analytics reports on social media performance.

What we are looking for:

• Passion for sustainability, environmental conservation, and youth empowerment.

• Strong storytelling skills and experience in social media content creation.

• Familiarity with tools like Canva, Adobe Spark, or other content design platforms.

• Photography and basic video editing skills are a plus.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

• Experience or interest in working with children or in educational projects.
