Fabrication Systems (U) Ltd, a leader in the construction business based in Kampala, Uganda, is seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join its team as a Store Keeper Attendant. Job Overview:
The Store Keeper Attendant will be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring accurate records of stock, and supporting the efficient operation of the company's warehouse. The role requires a detail-oriented individual with experience in inventory management within the construction business.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Store Keeper Attendant, your duties will include:
1. Inventory Management:
o Keep accurate records of all inventory and stock movement.
o Monitor stock levels and alert management when supplies are running low.
2. Stock Handling:
o Receive, inspect, and record deliveries of goods.
o Organize and store stock in the warehouse to maximize space utilization and efficiency.
3. Customer and Team Support:
o Work closely with the procurement and operations teams to meet project demands.
o Assist in preparing and dispatching materials to different project sites as required.
4. Quality Control:
o Ensure that all stored materials are in good condition and comply with company standards.
o Conduct regular stock checks and audits to minimize discrepancies.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
o Maintain and update inventory management records and reports.
o Prepare and submit stock reports to management on a regular basis.

Minimum Qualifications:
To be eligible for this position, you must meet the following criteria:
• Education: Must have completed S.6 (Senior Six).
• Experience:
o Proven experience in the construction business or a related field is required.
o Familiarity with construction materials, tools, and inventory management processes is highly preferred.

Skills and Competencies:
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.

• Good communication skills to interact with team members and suppliers.

• Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel is an added advantage.
• Physical ability to handle warehouse tasks, such as lifting and organizing materials.

• A team player with a proactive and problem-solving attitude.
