Key Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate the preparation and implementation of the school’s academic programs, timetables, and curriculum.
2. Supervise and evaluate teaching staff to ensure effective lesson delivery.
3. Monitor student performance and implement strategies for academic improvement.
4. Organize and oversee internal and external examinations, including preparation, invigilation, and results analysis.
5. Maintain academic records for students and staff, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
6. Facilitate staff professional development programs and workshops.
7. Work with subject heads to ensure syllabus coverage and resource availability.
8. Advise the administration on academic policies, trends, and student needs.
9. Provide guidance and mentorship to students on academic matters.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Proven teaching and administrative experience (minimum 3-5 years).
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in educational planning and management.
• Familiarity with Uganda’s education system and examination standards.
