Job Summary
The Head Teacher will provide strategic leadership and administrative oversight to a school in Kampala. They will ensure excellence, maintain discipline, and manage resources effectively to create a conducive learning environment.
- Minimum Qualification : Bachelors
- Experience Level : Senior level
- Experience Length : 4 years
Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the implementation of the school’s curriculum and co-curricular activities.
- Develop and enforce policies for academic, administrative, and operational excellence.
- Recruit, supervise, and support teaching and non-teaching staff.
- Monitor student performance and implement strategies for academic improvement.
- Manage the school’s budget, resources, and infrastructure.
- Foster positive relationships with parents, staff, and the community.
- Ensure compliance with the Ministry of Education’s standards and regulations.
- Promote discipline, safety, and welfare of all students and staff.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Master’s degree is an added advantage).
- Proven experience in school administration and leadership.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of Uganda’s education policies and regulations.
Preferably a Muslim
