JOB DETAILS:
Agricado Farms is seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join their team as a Farm Manager. This role is ideal for an individual with strong expertise in agriculture and farm management, eager to lead and optimize farming operations.

Location: 135km from the Capital, Kampala, Uganda

Qualifications and Experience
• Educational Background:
o Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy or a related field (required).
o Master’s degree in Business Administration, Farm Management, or a related field (preferred).
• Professional Experience:
o Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Farm Manager.
o Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Production Manager.
• Technical Knowledge:
o Strong understanding of agricultural practices, including crop management, irrigation, and pest control.
• Leadership and Management Skills:
o Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively.

o Excellent organizational and time management skills.
o Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Key Responsibilities
• Oversee day-to-day farm operations to ensure optimal production and efficiency.
• Manage crop planning, irrigation, pest control, and other agricultural activities.
• Develop and implement farm strategies and operational plans.
• Lead and motivate farm teams to meet performance and production goals.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of farm activities and production.
