Description
JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose
Responsible for the installation, testing, and maintenance of chassis electrical components and drivetrain systems, ensuring efficient functionality and adherence to safety and quality standards in vehicle production.
Key Functions
1. Chassis Component Assembly: Assemble chassis components, including suspension, steering, and brake systems, following specifications and ensuring correct installation to prevent future maintenance issues.
2. System Installation and Integration: Install and integrate major chassis systems into the vehicle frame, ensuring compatibility and proper alignment with other vehicle systems as per engineering guidelines.
3. Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Operate specialized tools and machinery for chassis system assembly; perform basic maintenance and report malfunctions to the maintenance team.
4. Adherence to Safety Standards: Follow all safety procedures when handling parts and equipment, utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
5. Additional Duties: Perform any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Education Background
1. Uganda Vocational Qualification Framework Level II in Motor Vehicle Mechanics or Related Field from a recognized Institution.
