RETENDER - BID NOTICE UNDER OPEN INTERNATIONAL BIDDING
Supply and delivery powerhouse crane busbar holders at Kiira Power Station, Jinja (KPS).
Procurement Reference Number: UEGCL/SPLS/2024-25/20400

1. Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited has allocated funds to be used for design, manufacture, internal test at factory and supply powerhouse crane busbar holders for Kiira Power Station, Jinja.
2. The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above Supplies.
3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open International Bidding procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003 (as amended), and Regulations 2023 and is open to all bidders.
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given in (7) from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
5. The bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below at (7) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000 (Uganda Shillings One Hundred Thousand). The method of payment will be by depositing the money in the bank account as will be advised by the Employer.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at (7) before 11:00 am on 22nd August 2024. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of UGX 2,000,000 (Uganda Shillings Two Million). Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 11:00 am on 22nd August 2024 at the address below at (7).
7. Bidders are advised to send qualified & experienced technical representatives to attend the pre-bid site visit, representatives should come with basic PPE such as hard hat, safety shoes, and reflective jackets. The site visit will be held on 8th January 2024 at the power station, at 11:00 am.
