Position Overview
As an Architect, you will play a crucial role in preparing detailed drawings of architectural and structural features for various projects including highways, bridges, and public works. You'll utilize your knowledge of building materials, engineering practices, and mathematics to bring designs to life.

Responsibilities
• Produce detailed drawings using computer-assisted drafting systems (CAD) or by hand.
• Draft plans and detailed drawings for structures and installations based on sketches and notes.

• Draw maps, diagrams, and profiles to represent elevations and topographical contours.

• Supervise and train other technologists, technicians, and drafters.

• Develop rough and detailed scale plans for foundations, buildings, and structures.

Qualifications
• Education: Post-secondary Diploma in Architecture or related fields.
• Experience: 1-2 years in a relevant role.
• Skills: Critical Thinking, Active Learning, Mathematics, Instructing, Judgment and Decision Making.
• Knowledge: Building and Construction, Engineering and Technology, Computers and Electronics, Mathematics.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with interior room arrangements using CAD equipment.
• Familiarity with methods of presentation in architectural drawing.
• Knowledge of design principles.
