EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

PREQUALIFICATION OF ACADEMIC INSTITUTIONS BY THE WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION UGANDA COUNTRY OFFICE FOR ENGAGEMENT ON TECHNICAL ASSIGNMENTS.

The World Health Organization (WHO) is in the process of identifying academic institutions to engage on technical assignments in Uganda.

The WHO wishes to invite eligible bidders to submit proposals based on the set terms of reference.

All interested bidders are requested to send an email to afwcougbids@who.int requesting for terms of reference by 24th December 2024. The email subject should clearly read Expression of Interest.

Additional Requirements:

1. Provide copies of:
   • Certificate of Incorporation
   • VAT registration
   • Trading Licenses
   • The Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Authority (PPDA) Registration
   • Any relevant certifications.
2. Letters of recommendation from reputable organizations.
3. Latest Bank Statement.
4. Audited Accounts.
5. A Letter of Credit from the Bank.

General Terms and Conditions:

a) WHO reserves the right to reject any bid.
b) WHO is not bound to select the lowest bid.
c) Only successful bidders will be notified in writing of the final bid decision.
d) Bidders are required to submit bids only through email, and no hard copies shall be received.

Deadline for Submission of Bids:

10th January 2025 at 2:00pm.

All bids shall be clearly marked with:
“Expression of Interest to conduct technical assignments for WHO Uganda office.”
