Job Overview:
On behalf of our client, who imports and sells medical equipment, we seek to recruit a highly competent, hardworking and self-motivated individual to fill the position of Sales Representative. The sales representative will be responsible for sales and promotion of products and services for the company.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Promote, market and sell Pharmaceuticals Laboratory and Medical Products according to the company's general Sales and Marketing plan to existing and new prospective customers
• To distribute advertising material relevant to the products and services of the company with the primary focus of generating new business
• To collect information from customers with regards to their current and future needs Important information like forthcoming projects should be made known to the supervisor (or to the management)
• To draft tender documents or contracts, prepare proposals and presentations
• To prepare and hand over to customers quotations according to the company's price lists and price policy.
• To meet the monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets an assigned.
• To keep records of sales targets and actual figures and compiling them into reports for management.
• To maintain customer records, keep records of visits and sales and to take and monitor orders.
• To prepare accurate information in the log sheets and make other reports required by management including reconciliation of damaged stock.
• To participate in exhibitions, promotions, trade bonanzas and other events that the company organizes or participates in.
• To deliver goods to customers when ever this is possible and to train the customer on the usage and the features of the products of the company
• To accept to participate in product trainings that the company considers relevant either organized internally, local by external trainer or abroad
• Attend Sales meetings.
• To share the experience and information with other colleagues in your department and other departments of the company.
• Regularly report to your superior for progress, market needs, customer needs, and any other information that may be used to maintain and develop further the sales of the company.
• Collect information about the competition and competitive products in the market as well as pricing for competitive products.
• Not to engage in or permit any other person to reverse engineer, decompile, modify or tamper in anyway whatsoever with the products supplied by the company whether the product is in the possession of the customer or of the company.
• To participate in any and all team building workshops and seminars organized by the company.
• To accept to undertake any other duties that may be assigned to you by your Supervisors or by the management.
Skills and requirements
• Degree in Biomedical Engineering or Laboratory Technology or Diploma in Nursing
• At least three years' experience in a similar position.
• Very good Computer knowledge and skills especially in Microsoft word and excel.
• Good personality and with integrity
• Ability to work with other people in a group
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience working in a laboratory using products similar to the company's portfolio of products
• Very good knowledge and command of the English Language, both written and spoken
