1. Enrolled Nurse Salary Scale: U7U Reference No.: DSC/NTU/01/01/2024 Key Responsibilities: • Provide nursing care and treatment to patients in line with medical protocols and standards. • Administer prescribed medication and monitor patients’ reactions and progress. • Ensure proper record-keeping of patient information and reports. • Support health education initiatives to promote hygiene and disease prevention in the community. • Collaborate with other health workers to ensure quality healthcare delivery. Qualifications and Requirements: • Certificate in Nursing from a recognized institution. • Registration with the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 2. Health Assistant Salary Scale: U5U Reference No.: DSC/NTU/02/01/2024 Key Responsibilities: • Implement public health policies and programs at the community level. • Supervise sanitation and hygiene activities in communities and health facilities. • Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with environmental health standards. • Provide health education to communities on topics like disease prevention and proper sanitation. • Participate in disease outbreak investigations and response efforts. Qualifications and Requirements: • Diploma in Environmental Health Science or Public Health. • Practical experience in community health and hygiene is an advantage. • Good analytical and problem-solving skills. 3. Clinical Officer Salary Scale: U5U Reference No.: DSC/NTU/03/01/2024 Key Responsibilities: • Diagnose and treat illnesses in patients within their scope of practice. • Support and oversee health education and disease prevention programs. • Refer patients to higher-level health facilities when specialized care is needed. • Maintain accurate patient records and submit regular reports to supervisors. • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to improve service delivery. Qualifications and Requirements: • Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Community Health from a recognized institution. • Registration with the Allied Health Professionals Council. • Strong ability to work under pressure in a clinical environment. 4. Assistant Engineering Officer (Civil) Salary Scale: U5SC Reference No.: DSC/NTU/04/01/2024 Key Responsibilities: • Assist in planning, supervising, and implementing civil engineering projects in the district. • Ensure quality control and compliance with engineering standards in construction works. • Prepare technical reports and project documentation for review. • Inspect and monitor ongoing projects to ensure adherence to timelines and budgets. • Collaborate with contractors and other stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery.
