Job Purpose
To uphold and maximize Interswitch's back-office processes and procedures while meeting customer expectations in terms of cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
1. Operational Oversight
o Manage daily back-office operations, including settlement & reconciliation, acquirer & issuer onboarding, and document verification management.
o Develop and implement operational policies, workflows, and procedures to ensure efficiency and smooth processes.

o Continuously assess and enhance operational processes to optimize efficiency and minimize errors.
2. Compliance and Risk Management
o Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies.
o Identify and mitigate operational risks with appropriate controls and strategies.

o Maintain adherence to security standards in the Scheme Management Units.
3. Process Improvement
o Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and streamlining of workflows.
o Monitor and maintain best-practice service standards.

o Supervise updates, upgrades, and related documentation for operational processes.

o Test and review new products and change requests before live implementation.
4. Collaboration and Communication
o Collaborate with internal teams, including technology, customer support, finance, and compliance, to address operational challenges and improve processes.
o Implement best practices to enhance customer experience.
5. Leadership and Team Management
o Lead and mentor a team of back-office professionals, providing guidance, feedback, and training to drive performance and professional growth.
o Develop and monitor operational service delivery standards.
6. Financial Analysis
o Analyze financial data to improve operational profitability.

Educational Qualifications
• Minimum Qualification: University Degree in a business-related field.
• Certifications: ITIL Foundation, Data Analytics, Six Sigma certification.

Experience Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in back-office operations within a financial institution.
• At least 2 years of managerial or supervisory experience in handling back-office operations or schemes management.

• At least 2 years of experience in digital payments.
