Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Prepare lesson plans and schemes of work for assigned subjects.

2. Teach and facilitate learning in classrooms to ensure proper delivery of the curriculum.

3. Assess and evaluate students’ performance through tests, assignments, and projects.

4. Participate in co-curricular activities such as sports, debates, and school clubs.
5. Promote discipline, guidance, and counseling for pupils.

6. Keep accurate records of learners’ attendance and academic progress.
7. Maintain professional ethics and integrate community participation in the education process.

Minimum Qualifications:
1. Must possess a Grade III Teacher's Certificate or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
2. Registered with the Ministry of Education and Sports as a qualified teacher.

3. Proven ability to manage and teach large classes in rural settings.
4. Good interpersonal and communication skills.

• Applicants should attach photocopies of all academic certificates and transcripts, National Identity Cards, three recent passport-sized photographs, and any other relevant documents.
• Serving officers must route their applications through their respective supervisors who should be informed of the closing date to avoid delays. Applications should bear the title of the post applied for as well as the Reference Number.
• Shortlisted candidates must bring original academic documents and identity cards at the time of interview. Applicants who shall not hear from Sironko District Service Commission on completion of the selection exercise should consider themselves unsuccessful.
