About Organisation:

CHEDRA (Community Health Empowerment Development and Relief Agency) a public health service delivery organization has received a grant from Makerere University Walter Reed Project (MUWRP) under the PEPFAR program to improve HIV and TB Prevention, Care and Treatment services through Health System Strengthening in the district of Kayunga. The CHEDRA/MUWRP program invites qualified persons to support implementation of the DREAMS program activities among vulnerable and at-risk Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW), and to reach Adolescent Boys and Young Men (ABYM), with HIV and violence prevention interventions especially in locations of high gender-based violence and violence against children in Kayunga District.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support timely enrollment, screening and service layering of the right AGYWS on the program
  • Supervise facilitators for different curriculums, artisans and other sub county support staff
  • Ensure that the program conforms to the standards stipulated by the organization and donors.
  • Monitor all activities at model and community safe spaces
  • Guarantee that program activities and outcomes are accurately and promptly reported, monitored, and evaluated.
  • Collaborate with other teams and departments to ensure alignment and effectiveness.
  • Mobilize AGYW partners and provide relevant risk-based services
  • Add any other tasks as assigned from time to time
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social work and Social Administration, Community Psychology, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Counseling and Guidance, or other humanitarian related courses.
  • Must have at least 1 years’ experience working with the DREAMS Program
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and Google
  • Experience managing programs and teams in a humanitarian setting.
  • Eloquence in English and local languages.
  • Experience in working in a tight paced environment with frequent tight deadlines
